    The Terrace

    The Terrace is open to the public each night beginning at 5pm.  Up to half of the terrace space can be roped off on a semi-private basis during your event for your guests. The fee for adding a portion of the terrace to your event space is $400.00 Sunday – Wednesday, and $600.00 Thursday – Saturday.


    PRIVATE EVENT SPACE: The Yellowhammer Room

    The Yellowhammer Room, located adjacent to The Lookout Rooftop Bar at Hotel Indigo has 837 square feet of space that can accommodate up to 40-50 persons based on the desired room set and terrace rental, and is available for event rental daily.  The Yellowhammer Room can open onto the terrace and be accessed by your group on a semi-private basis with an additional rental fee of $400.00 – $600.00 depending on day of week.

    AV Options include a 96-inch screen television with easy HDMI hookup, perfect for presentations and slideshows. Use of the tv is complimentary with any event rental. Whiteboards and flipcharts are complimentary add-ons for meetings.

    Popular configurations/space accommodations include:

    • Reception Style (limited seating with standing room) – Excellent for social gatherings! Capacity: 40 
    • Modern Banquet Style – Square tables with comfortable chairs provide a warm inviting layout for maximum interaction and give more of a café feel.  Capacity: 20 
    • Traditional Banquet Style – Round tables accommodating 7 persons at each provide maximum seating capacity.  Capacity: 35
    • Meeting Style – Crescent rounds of up to 4 chairs at each table, all facing the screen. Capacity: 20

    Bar service is available for private events! We offer options of a hosted bar (client pays bar tab) or partially hosted bar (client sets limit on dollar amount they will cover with cash bar after limit is reached), and also an option for a cash bar (attendees pay individually).  You can choose exactly what we offer on the bar.

    Bartender fees are as follows:

    Hosted bar: $50/hr (2 hour minimum)

    Partially hosted bar: $75/hr (2 hour minimum)

    Cash bar: $85/hr (2 hour minimum)


    The Entire Top Floor (Lookout Restaurant, Yellowhammer Private Room and Full Terrace) is available as a private rental daily until 3pm.   This versatile space can accommodate up to 100 for social gatherings, weddings, breakfasts & brunches, and luncheon events.   This space includes the Yellowhammer Room, the main bar and the outdoor terrace for over 3,000SF of flexible meeting space with the best view in town! Rental prices are dependent on date and time and must be requested directly from Hotel Indigo Sales Office.

    Hotel Indigo has several options for event set-up and service.  If you desire an item or set-up we cannot accommodate in-house, we can arrange services through ABZ Rentals locally and simply add this to your final bill with us. Our standard tablecloths are 120 inch black cotton rounds. If you would like to special order another color or style tablecloth to make your event more unique it is a $100 fee (minimum).

    Our food and beverage team provides all catering onsite and can offer solutions for all types of meetings & events.  Specialty desserts are allowed from licensed and permitted bakeries/caterers.

    NON-PRIVATE EVENTS:

    Small Groups in The Lookout:

    For smaller casual gatherings of 10 or fewer people requiring no planned menu or special set-up: our Lookout bar & menu are available. This is perfect if you are simply looking for a place to gather with friends or colleagues for events such as birthdays, anniversaries, etc. You can make send an email to dos.hotelindigo.tuscaloosa@aperturehotels.com to let us know you are coming, but we cannot guarantee your reservation.
